Nice-Pak invests in people and sustainability as part of a move to 24/7 operations

Flint Headquartered Nice-Pak International, has significantly expanded its workforce as part of a move to 24/7 operations, reinforcing its long-term commitment to investment in people, skills and operational excellence.

During the autumn of 2025, the business recruited 40 new colleagues, bringing the total site headcount to over 300.  This expansion includes a new operational team comprising of production operators, liquid plant operators and maintenance technicians, strengthening both production and technical capability across the operation. To support this growth, a number of existing colleagues have progressed into leadership & training roles, ensuring new team members are effectively supported and developed.

 

The business has also recently benefited from the recruitment of factory manager, Hayley Fenna, who brings with her valuable expertise from the manufacturing sector following the closure of Flint’s Kimberly-Clark operation. Hayley’s appointment complements the strong existing leadership team and reflect Nice-Pak’s focus on experience, continuity and quality.

Nice-Pak places sustainability at the heart of its operations. The business follows responsible and sustainable manufacturing practices, with 93% of its products now plastic-free and 86% of its packaging fully recyclable, supporting retail partners in meeting their environmental commitments while delivering high-quality private label products.

Nice-Pak are delighted to have been able to recruit new colleagues and for them to join the existing team, of which 60% have more than 10 years’ service, highlighting long-term retention and loyalty.

Their commitment to employee wellbeing and engagement was recognised by YuLife, who honoured them with the YuX Pioneer award for helping to co-create the future of workplace wellbeing. The award recognised the organisation’s commitment and passion in relation to both the development and promotion of wellbeing initiatives and strong colleague engagement.
